The traditional publishing path is daunting. Agents who never respond to queries. Publishers who only want authors with existing platforms. Contracts written in language designed to confuse. And if you go the self-publishing route, you're often on your own — figuring out cover design, formatting, distribution, and marketing with little guidance.

We've seen too many great writers give up because the system wasn't built for them. Books that deserved readers never found them. Voices that needed to be heard went silent.

Makarios Media exists to offer a different path.

We're building a publishing house where new authors are genuinely welcome — not as afterthoughts, but as the whole point. Where contracts are written in plain language and structured fairly. Where we don't just accept your manuscript; we actually help you through the entire process of bringing it to readers.

Our catalog is intentionally broad: children's books, illustrated classics, spirituality and new thought, educational resources, thought leadership, and more. Because great ideas don't fit neatly into one category, and neither do great authors.

We're small, and that's intentional. It means we can give every project the attention it deserves. It means we can say yes to books we believe in, even if they don't fit a neat market category. It means we can build real relationships with our authors, not just transactional ones.
