Emily Brontë's only novel has been in print since 1847, and most editions on the shelf today are the same text in a different wrapper. The famous illustrated versions, Fritz Eichenberg's wood engravings from 1943 and Edna Clarke Hall's drawings, are decades old and difficult to find new.

This edition was drawn from scratch. Benjamin Carter created 34 original pen-and-ink vignettes, one opening every chapter, working from the novel's own imagery rather than from earlier artists. The interior is printed on archival-quality cream paper at 6×9, roughly 415 pages, and the hardcover is offered with a cloth binding option.

If you want a reading copy, a cheap reprint will do. If you want a copy that holds up on a shelf and survives being read more than once, that is what this one was made for.

Wuthering Heights is one of the few novels people buy twice. The first copy is usually assigned in school. The second one is chosen.
